What should i get first, a quad core for my pc or a jbl/yamaha floorstanding speaker setup?

I would buy a good music system any day over upgrading my computer.

If I had an old computer running on a low processor (like Pentium 2 or 3) with some GUI based operating system, I would have still opted for upgrading my music system rather than the comp.

Um...if your PC is really slow, and you already have decent speakers, get the new CPU; if your PC is okay, but you have c**p speakers...get the speakers.

Neither go and buy a Klipsch speaker system with a yamaha receiver.
