What should i get for surround sound?

I have a 27 inch tv with sasktel max tv. I want one with standing speakers, i am looking to spend 3 to 4 hundred dollars and i want a fairly good system any ideas or suggestions.

Panasonic  SC-PT950  would fit the build for your range. It has what you need and sound very good too.

if you can spend aliitte bit more.  I prefer Yamaha Receiver.

with your budget there is no much you can do, you will have to get a Home Theater in a Box try to buy Pioneer or Sony, the good Brands as Onkyo, Yamaha, Denon, Marantz they are lot more...
