My mother is getting her the stroller with the car seat and the matching diaper bag.

I want to get her something BIG. Something just as important.

Her mother-in law alreaady got her the rocking chair.

They are getting the hand me down nursery set. crib, dresser, ect.

What else is something that really important besides little things?

  1. high chair, exersaucer..... you can make her a gift basket w/ a bunch of small stuff she would need like diapers, wipes, toys, blankets, onesies/clothes, bottles, pacifiers, loveys, diaper cream, spoons and bowls, bottle warmer, and maybe a gift card to a place where she can buy some stuff for the baby like baby gap or babys r us! good luck and congrats on being an aunt!

  2. maybe like a bag full of bottles, bibs, shoes, socks, mits, clothes, baby toys and like LOTS of those kinda things!

i think thats what ill do.

  3. Get a clothes hamper a cute one from say Babies R Us.. then fill it with disposable diapers(in newborn and next step up sizes), desitin, a package of cloth diapers(good for spit up rags), oneies(in 3-6month old sizes), Johnson gift package of powder and lotion), that should fill it to the top.. just put a bow on it , attach a card and your set!

  4. With her already getting big things it is hard to find something just as big but you have to remember the little things count just as much as the big things.

Bedding, lots of clothes(different sizes), diaper genie, playpen, or if you are set on getting her something big tell her when she is ready for her next car seat you'll take her to get it and buy it for her.

    Good Luck with the shopping!

  5. A playpen, baby monitors, baby swing, or start a savings account for her.

  6. get her a massage designed for pregnant women...

as much as she needs baby stuff she needs to feel good too..

  7. What i WOULDNT get her are clothes.  She going to have so much she probably wont even get a chance to use them all.

One thing I hear a lot is Diapers.  get her something practical that she could use a while, like a car seat.  and then get her a butt load of diapers- diapers get VERY expensive so I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

Oh and i hear that huggies runs small and dont hold as well as other brands.

  8. I guess that depends on what she needs, wants, and how much u want to spend. Higher priced things are a bassinet, crib, changing table, rocker, breast pump, stroller, and car seat. On the lower end you could buy bottles with liners, bibs, burp cloths, blankets, rattles or lovies, a mobile, onesies, pajamas, a coat, socks, clothes, slow flowing nipples for bottles, diapers and wipes, a nice diaper bag, desitin, etc. You could get her a baby tub and put baby shampoo, soap, nail clippers, a nasal aspirator, towels, baby powder, and other bath time stuff in there. Good Luck!!
