What should i get people who wrote me reccomendations for optometry school?

One is an optometrist, the other a professor, and lastly a lady i volunteered for

Definitely a genuine handwritten thank you card. Something personal would be nice if you know them well enough- a subscription to a magazine about their hobbies would be great, since it's a gift that'll keep on giving all year. If you don't know them as well, almost everyone loves coffee and chocolate- maybe a nice gift basket, or a gift card.

I would absolutely send a Thank You note regardless, and assuming you were accepted, maybe a gift card to a restaurant, or since that could get pricey for 3 people, maybe a $5 or $10 gift card to starbucks.  Hope this helps.
