What should i get xbox 360 or ps3?

i know gears of war is better than any game ps3 has and that gears of war 2 is going to come out....ps3 ive heard have problems with lame games speccialy with gamrs like medal gear solid 4

for i believe there are more games, and most likely people who play online probably have an x-box for its affordable and available

plus you can save money that you would spend for a ps3 to buy games

I think A 360, GTa 4 And Halo 3 Are two Good Games! Also Upcoming ones like Rock band 2, An Exclusive 360 Title coming to that system First. Plus if you Get Gutiar hero You can Download Songs off of Xbox Live if your Sick of the tracks.

Xbox is my favorite. But Wii is cool to. Go to Best Buy or Circuit City. Sometimes they let you try it out. There are a lot of cool games for Xbox now.

XBox 360 - Great online, though you have to pay for it.

          Great games like Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Gears of War, Fallout 3,  and Burnout Paradise, and all the backwards compatible XBox games.

          Cheaper console and cheaper games then PS3.

PS3 - Free online, though it's not the best.

         Great games like God of War 3, Ratchet & Clank, Metal Gear Solid 4, and all the backwards compatible PS2 games.

         More expensive, but has better graphics.

I recommend the XBox 360 though, loads of incredible games coming up for it! =D

there are alwaiz goin to b complaints and people bashin out the ps3 coz its slowly comin to the top. gears of war was soo over-rated and after bein curious it wasnt even all that...too mch hype jst like halo and we all know those games die out quick. PS3 is great..and metal gear solid 4 was flawless and it coulndt even function on the360.

..at the end of the day...ps3 still rules....slowly comin to the top..Plus..it looks more pretty too..hehe

I'd have to say 360. NOT because i'm a fanboy(I have both systems), but because there are simply more games to choose from for the 360. The ps3 also has it's share of games, but not as many as the 360. I'm NOT dissing the ps3 by the way, i'm just stating the facts, so don't get me wrong I like the ps3 too. I'm just sayin' the 360 has more veriety of game to choose from.

your probably gonna get lots of very opinionated sad people answerin this who think this is a massive deal. My best advice is to get the one most ypur friends have cos then you can have better online play (cos you can play with ur friends). But my personal preferance is 360 its more user friendly and has better games than the ps3, i played the ps3 and thort it fell short of the 360 in many ways

PS3 has a built-in hard-drive for even the most basic model.  PS3 is quieter and the console is much more visually appealing.  Also it looks and feels much more expensive than an XBOX360.  At the same time PS3 is more expensive.  It consumes more electricity.  So if you play for 10 hours a day, the electric bill will rise accordingly, much more so than with an XBOX360.  PS3 is whisper quiet.  Xbox360 sounds like a lawn mower sometimes; it is definitely very noisy.  PS3 has touch sensitive keys.  XBOX360 has cheap buttons you press down.  Honestly the craftmanship has to be questioned with the XBOX360.

XBOX360 has many exclusive games, meaning you wont get to play those games on PS3.  PS3 has a few exclusive games but honestly, I like the XBOX360 exclusive games more so than the PS3 exclusive games.  Mass Effect is only available on XBOX360 and PC.  There are many good games available only for XBOX360, but once again if you like sleek aesthetics and high-tech ergonomics, PS3 is far superior to XBOX360.  If you care more for the quality games that are exclusive to a certain console, then XBOX360 would be the way to go if you can bare with the loud fan noise and the really cheap looking device that is the XBOX360.

PS3 has to download certain amount of data from the game disc before the user can even start the game.  Sometimes this takes over 20 minutes, before you can even start playing the game.  XBox360 does not have this problem.

Also, the PS3 has everything built in.  XBOX360 has a humongous power adapter that connects to the console itself and this is very unsightly and saying it is ugly would be an understatement....its downright hidious.  You dont have this problem with the PS3.  You just have the console and you plug that into a power outlet.

You heard Ps3 had some problmes? yeah that Read Ring of Death incompatibilty cna be annoyign i really enjoy sending my consoel off to MS for 6 weeks ( ah well at elast me n john got some quailty time on my PS3 while his was off to be fixed)

as mentioend you cna acatully get Gears of War, and Halo, and Bioshcok etc on Pc as well, so you cnould get a PS3, and then play the 360 "exclusives" on your Pc.

PS3 has the msot features per pound, but if you really want ot paly gears ona console, then get a 360.

Its your money, spend it how you liek, yo ssem to have made your mind up to get a 360 anyway ( and to not use the search function ot look at the 3,682 billion other 360 or Ps3 questions)
