What should i give my daughter for her 14th Birthday??

i have asked her and it is next week and she says she doesn't know. any ideas?? all welcome!!

The best gift you can ever give is memories. Maybe a party for her and friends and you hire a bowling lane or cinema screening. or even a short vacation.

If you really wanna go to town, buy her a nice dress for the occasion and dont forget the camera's

well if you put up a picture of her or even a bit about her style then it would be better but anyways on my 14th i wanted something gold.

get her a gold bracelet and take it to the engravers and they can engrave her first name in it and on the back it can say from mum or 14 what ever you fancy.

this will be memorable and she will always have it and wont grow out of it. a voucher for new look or her favorite clothes shop is good as well but not so memorable as the bracelet.

some suggestions:

if she reads..buy her the entire twilight series by stephenie mayer. (4 books) there the best books i have ever read in my life..and many other teenage girls would agree! these are a must have...i love them soo much! :)

you can get her gift cards to hollister, american eagle, etc. those are always good :)

get her an american express gift card..then she can spend it wherever she wants... :)

get her some makeup kits from sephorah :)

subscription to magazines she likes (seventeen, cosmo girl, etc.) :)

a pair of ugg boots..the winters coming up and those are the warmest boots i own! :)

some shirts from Pink  or pink signature sweatpants (a teenage "appropriate" version of victorias secret..very styilish and comfy clothing) :)

a pair of converse shoes :)

a digital camera :)

throw her a surprise birthday party...have a sleepover party and bring friends to the beach/ amusement park/ nail salon/ spa :)

laptop/ipod/mp3 player :)

get a cute tote bag that she can use and fill it with things you will know she will like(favorite candy, some gift cards, notebooks, stickers lol) :)

dvd of her favorite movie/ tv show season :)

take her and a few friends to the movies to see a movie of there choice... :)

wow!! a 14 yr old who doesn't know what they want is a 14 yr old who is not particularly materialistic and thats great and very unusual. Having loved and cherished her for 14 yrs you will probably be able to suss out what she likes, whats in her bedroom?Tonnes of make-up/ or music cds or posters of horses?dogs? dolphins?/loads of books? Depending on what her room reveals about her interests, heres some ideas;

book 2 hrs pony trekking,go paintballing, adopt a tiger/donkey/dolphin etc in her name, if its books/cds/or make up then get a relevant gift voucher to use as she pleases.Hope she has a great day!

Why not take her clothes shopping and include a lunch with that?

Not only will you be able to oversee her purchases, get a good idea of what her tastes are of late, and enjoy a lovely meal but you get to spend some quality time with her.

This goes a long way if you take her out of town, away from her friends prying eyes.

Or, you could get her something pretty much everyone wants. An ipod, a computer, a laptop, a tv for her room, something like that. If she's got any special interests, consider those. I love music and for my last birthday I got a new guitar to replace my old one. For christmas I got tickets for a concert I wanted to see. Think of what she really likes, or let her choose what she wants, and it'll be perfect. :)

Well first of all ask her what she like, whats her favourite thing, if its her birthday what will she like.  Or you can ask her if maybe she likes what ever you ask her. i'm 15 and i think the best birthday present i've been given so far is my GHD straighteners (because i hate my natural hair hahaa). i think for my 14th i got perfume - which i love - from my grandparents, so maybe you could get her perfume. or if you've been shopping with her & she's asked for a top or something & you've said no.. well, time to get her it! you could also give her money or a gift card so she can buy what she wants.
