  1. You should have said you had triplets... if you are going to make up stories you may as well go for GOLD!

How about in a few weeks you say that it is actually quads. That should get you some attention.

OH and then... how about this... in a few weeks you could get stalked by the guy at work and your husband could beat him up and you can be so upset that you can throw yourself down the stairs again!

Seriously, how do you have the time to think of so many dramas in your life?

  2. You should know that no matter how hard to try, you will NEVER be ready for this roller coaster ride.  Just go with the flow.

  3. First of all congrats..

Having Twins is more stressful than having single baby.. you wl be monitored very closely... but also fun double kicks n sometime double hiccups.. also fun to goto ultra sound.. amazing to see two heart beats and two tiny human beings in you

    it is like mixed blessings

    have fun..

  4. I'm having twins too! Unlike you these are my first babies. So I'm sure you already know a lot about what being pregnant is like! Expect to get really really really uncomfortable the later you get in your pregnancy. Instead of only having one baby squashing your bladder you will have one kicking you in the stomach while the other sleeps on your bladder! It's so amazing to feel them both playing in your tummy though!

Expect to go to the doctor's more often especially later in the pregnancy. They will want to monitor you closely because you are at a higher risk of going into preterm labor since you have two little babies instead of one! You are also at a higher risk of having other complications like gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. They will usually give you more ultrasounds as well because it's the only way to make sure they are growing adequately.

You will also probably have to gain more weight than you did with previous pregnancies but not by much. My doctor told me I had to gain a total of about 30-35 pounds, which isn't much more than the recommended 25 for a single baby. My doctor said to make sure to get some extra servings of fruits, veggies, protein and calcium. Though you don't need that many more calories overall it's important to get those extra servings in to make sure the babies get all the nutrients they need.

    Best of luck and congratulations!

  5. twins are double the fun! if you have already had two pregnancy's then you know what to do. just x by 2, with my twins, i was scared, i already had one, what was i going to do with 2 more when i couldn't figure out how i am supposed to take care of the first one. I found that if you can somehow keep them on the same schedule, things are much easier. breast feeding if your going to do it, is tricky and exhausting. good luck. my name is jessica. e mail is jlgordonlb@yahoo.com

  6. I saw and answered your questions yesterday. Did you go to the doc and actually get checked to see if you are indeed carrying twins? I'm just curious

cause you said you were 3 months along, that's a little out of the ordinary to find out that far along... your doc should have noticed twins earlier

  7. im only having one so im not any help. but Andrew's mommy made me curious, how did they miss the twins before?? was the the first U/S?
