What should i know about working at starbucks for the first time?

I just had my second interview at the local starbucks and i should get hired on. what are some things i should know about the job? whats it like and what kind of things will i be doing??

You also should know that Starbucks recently just closed about 500 of it's stores. And if McSame wins the election, the economy will only worsen, and more then likely more closing will come soon. And you might be out of a job after a few short months.

The job is much like any in a coffe place u will be learning to make different drinks and if its an actual store  will be cleaning up the tables same old same old but atleast ur going to get paid!

Expect to work with and know some amazingly awesome people. Well, obviously not every single one is going to be wicked, so watch out.

Also, expect to have a lot of fun at work! Now, the first week will be a complete debacle of your nerves and confidence. My first day, completely untrained on anything, my managers had tossed me onto the bar. Experienced baristas may be a complete **** to the vulnerable new trainees, but don't let that get you.

Your tasks depend on your position for that shift. You may focus only on brewing coffee and handling cash, or simply (haha) focus on making beverages, or even handling drive-thru customers.

In time, you'll get that "ah-ha" moment, and everything falls into place, and you just "get it".
