What should i know before i ride my rip stick for the first time?

i just got a rip stick and have no idea how to ride it

My brother has one of those things...they're crazy. I would just suggest jumping on and swiveling your hips very smoothly...sorry that sounds dirty but thats basically how you do it. Plus don't those things come with instructional DVDs? I'm sure you could find something on Youtube.

Use copious amounts of lubricant.  Water based preferrably.. but petroleum would work just as well.

i have one... it's not as easy as u think, the first time!!! u will get good after a couple days... its really fun...yeahhh u might fall a few times but it happened 2 me also... and now im really good @ it

You better get a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads if you don't want to hurt yourself.

u lay it onto its side

then put a foot onto the first 'platform' part

so to speak

and then tilt it up to ride

i tried it

and almost like dieddddd

its really hard

but seriously every little boy in my neighborhood has one

oh btw
