  1. Before taking AP chem you should have a good understanding of basic chemistry concepts. Know things like stoichiometry, gas laws, basic acid-base and electrochem concepts and equilibrium. Check out this site.http://www.sciencegeek.net/Chemistry/tat...

    Those are reviews for first year regular/honors chemistry. You should be able to answer those questions or at least have an idea of how to answer them. Try out the reviews. If it's stuff you've already learned or you understand it then you're ready for AP chemistry. If you don't get most of it then you'll have to learn all of it while taking AP chem.
