  1. how about callie or spots or buttons!!!!!!

  2. My first cat I named KC (for Kitty-cat). You can also name her "Cally" (for Calico).

  3. Cats should be named based on their attitudes (all cats have them). My grandma just bought a cat that thinks she's royalty. We named her Lady Godiva.  My older cat is named Goliath (he's huge now, but was a tiny little thing when my wife named him). Echo, our other cat, is fuzzy and grey and loves to meow.

  4. Here are some useful tips in choosing a name for your cat.

    - Choose a name that’s both easy to say and one that you are happy calling out.

    - Pick a name that will grow with the pet.  For example "Kitten" may be less appropriate for a full grown cat.

    - Wait a few days to study your pets behavior.  The personality and appearance of the cat may assist here.

    - Pick a name that the pet can easily recognize.  Animals respond better to one or two syllable names, (especially names ending in a long E sound, like “Gracy“).

    - If choosing a long name keep in mind the shortened version.  A long name will inevitably be shortened, but it may ruin the effect that you were originally looking for.

    - The pet’s breed heritage can provide some useful inspiration.  For example: Siamese, Balinese, Korat, and Burmese are Oriental breeds; Don Sphynx and Peterbald are Russian; Abyssinian is Egyptian; Chartreux is French; Bombay is British; Devon Rex is English.

In my opinion, it's more meaningful when you name your pet yourself.  Check out these websites for tons of pet name ideas...  you can search by gender, color, meaning, and first letter of the name.

  6. We had a calico cat when I was a kid and we called her Crazy Quilt or just plain Quilt because of her patchwork. A crazy pattern in quilting is sort of a jumble.

  7. i would name her ginsing.  personally its just whatever comes to mind for me.

my cats are GusGus, Ikiris Roo, and Figaro (who is a girl)

my old cats have been friskey, minxi, coca and cola (twins), jackjack, mieke (meek-uh), clinton, and zack.

    and my dog is dakota.

my friend has two cats that sound similar to yours, their names are lucy and izzy.

  12. gismo,charlie(short for charlotte) suki,nick,jodie,sooty,licky,toots and baby

but usually when i see these type of question i answer by saying after you had the cat a few days, and they type of character they turn out to be, you will call them some sort of name that will stick, what ever you choose good luck...

their is a saying though that a dog will come when called, but a cat will take a message and get back to you..

and if you want the best seat in the house, move the cat.

any way i have enclosed a couple of sites with a list of names.
