I like giving my animals human names, I think Troy for a boy and Ruby for a girl would be cute. Congrats on the new pet!

I like human names too on pets. I'd choose something funny like George, Ted, Susan or Mary. Not making fun of people with those names but they are funny on pets.

Our hamster is Carmel. I didn't name her. Have fun.
