Anesthesiologists are medical doctors who specialize in anesthesiology.  So you'll need to be smart enough to get into college, get through college, get into medical school, get through medical school, and then more school to specialize in anesthesiology.

Anesthesiologist require LOTS of school and study.

You'll probably be required to take courses that are heavy in Biology and Chemistry.

High school Chemistry, Physics, and/or Biology.

In University, study whatever you want, but make sure you take at least first-year Physics, and Chemistry (depending on the Uni you

may need Organic/Inorganic. In Canada you just need inorganic).

In Medical School, pay attention! Aim high. Shoot for the stars. Try to make friends with Anesthesiologists and Surgeons. They'll be a big help.

After graduation from medical school, use your new friends as great letters of reference, and get into an awesome Anesthesiology program.
