What should i pack on a week's trip to costa rica?

I've been to Costa Rica 3 times (going back in December) and this is my packing list

T-shirts

shorts

hat

2 swimsuits

Beach towel

flip flops

Sturdy footwear for hiking

Small medical kit

Small sewing kit

Toiletries and prescription meds

Sunglasses, spare glasses, contacts

Sunblock

Bug spray

Small Umbrella

Small flashlight

Camera

Guidebook (Lonely Planet or Moon guide)

Journal/writing materials

Spanish/English dictionary

Deck of cards

Some zip lock plastic waterproof bags

Well year round the temp is in the 70s-90s, so no need for long pants unless you are in San Jose and plan on dining somewhere nice.

I bring shorts, T-shirts or loose fitting short sleeve button shirts, sandals, sneakers.  A hat can help keep the sun off, and if you're going anytime soon you might get some rain as the rainy season is starting about now.  However, in most parts that means an hour or so of rain in the early afternoon.  Perfect for a morning swim in the ocean, grab some food, hike around some and then head back to your place for a little siesta while it rains, and then head out again later.

Of course a swim suit is good as the oceans are great.  You'll see tons of wildlife, so bring a good camera.  

It's beautiful, so have a great time.  Almost everywhere takes credit cards, so don't bring a lot of cash with you or feel like you have to exchange a lot of cash.  It's also pretty safe (except parts of San Jose) and compared to Mexico, there's a lot of English written and spoken.

Is not the time now! It is rainning too much. You check for doing those things when the rainny seasson is over.

You should pack the extreme sport stuff like if you go to USA or other place.
