  1. You should line the bottom of the cage with newspaper to absorb the urine.

Then Give you bunny some hay to make the bunnies teeth stronger.

If you rip up some black print newspaper your rabbit will enjoy chewing on that and the hay.

Make sure you have Plently......A LOT of water for you rabbit to drink, some times the rabbit poo with get in the dish..and well would you enjoy drinking that? lol no. So you might want to keep that clean,

Put some fresh food in daily

And if you have a carboard box (just a small size ..big enough to fit your rabbit) you can put some ripped up news paper and some of its poo in the box and keep puttin you rabbit in box you may litter train her/him lol

If you want to pamper your bunny put in some hard plastic ababy toys for him/her to chew on :)

    Have fun!! And good luck!

  2. any bedding that is different from what they live in should do the trick

  3. Woody Pet is very inexpensive and works like a charm to control the odor.

Go to www.rabbit.org for all your rabbit questions!

  4. I only use Feline Pine, or the generic of it.  It's safe to use, and cuts down on the smell.  Still have to change out the litter every other day, but it helps.  For the small bag it's about 2.50 at walmart.

  5. I go to an exotic vet for my bun's and they say Yesterdays News litter is the safest litter for buns because of their sensitive respritory  system.

  6. Well, we use cedar chips.

They absorb more and take away smell and it is very simple

    to use.

  7. Pine shavings, corn cob, abso-pure, or other types of pet litter.  Just make sure not to use cedar shavings since they are poisonous to rabbits and will kill them.

  8. I use Pine shavings, But Anyway of your choices work fine, jsut DO NOT use Ceder Shavigns these can kill a bunny.

Pine, Aspen, Cat litter, Sand, Straw, Newspaper Shreddings, anything like tha tworks well, and can be found everywhere.

I perfer to use Pine because it smells better, and is simpel to clean.

  9. Simple wood shavings are best to line the litterbox to protect it. They can be bought in supermarkets and pretty much all pet shops.

EDIT - however I wouldn't use newspaper, the ink in it can be fatal if he/she eats it.

  10. My bunny was in a cage and I think I used some hamster shavings or wood chips. But there are bunny litters and you can try cat littler.
