  1. The most comfortable wear for a new baby is a soft sleepsuit. Wrap a shawl round him/her and there you are!

  2. It's entirely up to you what your baby wears but take into account the weather etc.

Grace wore a dress from JCPenney. It was a sunny day so it was nice she could wear a dress.

  3. Depends on the weather, but remember babies get chilled much easier than we do. If you are comfortable the baby is probably chilly. I love onesies for this reason. You can put on some socks, a little cap and a warm blankie. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO USE THE CAR SEAT CORRECTLY! Your hospital should be able to give you the numbers of your local law enforcement agencies who will teach you to install it properly. If your not using it properly its just like not using it at all. Best of luck to you and your new baby!

  4. I live in a cooler climate, but the weather was warm when I brought my son home.  I dressed him in a kimono tee, hat, and long pants.  I didn't want the car seat straps to chafe his skin.  If you'll be putting him in a carseat, make sure he's in enough clothing to protect against chafing.

  5. Since it's hot, I would suggest a onesie, that will be cool and comfy for baby and says something cute or funny that will be memorable later on.  and a hat and booties and blankie!
