What should i save up for ??

i got a xbox360 a new bike a cell phone and a paintball guns so what should i save up for ( price range 50 - 1000 )

At some point you will want new computer software and an upgrade to your system - like a larger flat screen. Best to save up to have a rainy day fund in case your xbox gets damaged, your bike gets run over, or your cell phone gets wet, etc.

My father did really well for himself and has always pushed the motto "pay yourself first".  He retired at about 50, travels constantly, has two condos, is able to be generous with his family...he is a very happy guy.  What should you save for??

--A gift for a friend, family member or charitable cause

--A catastrophe

--The means to make your dreams come true

I am going out on a limb here, but based on the items you referenced just having bought, you sound pretty young.  Save for your future!  That doesn't mean you can't have fun now, but always buying the hot new item is a bad habit to get into.  There will come a time when you won't be able to afford it anymore, and that can be really depressing.

Just forget about what you want to buy next for awhile and enjoy what you have.  Then you can also enjoy watching your bank account grow ;)
