i want to join the varsity team of our school in soccer but my mom didn't allow because it might affect my grades and all but soccer is my passion and it's what i do.,. how can i convince my mom that soccer is my thing?

I say that you should just tell her the truth. Make a promise with her. She probably thinks that the only way you COULD play soccer is by keeping your grades up. Try showing her that you can get good grades and do what you love doing at the same time. :)

i know that this may sound childish but its worth a try. write up a contract between the two of you saying that if soccer affects your grades that you will not play until your grades go back up. I know by the way of this letter that you will not allow your grades to go down by playing soccer. I wish you well and hope she does allow you to play.

    I did the same with my daughter and son on the things that they wanted to do and it worked for them. They wouldn't allow their grades to go down for they wanted to do what it is that they were into.
