What should i say to my mom

well my parents use adult toys at night and sometimes i know when they use it... the other day i found where they were and ran into there room and took them away to hid the things from them so they couldnt use them anymore... well i ran back into my room and a couple minutes later my mom just came and i didn't know... i was in my bathroom and was trying to hide it very quickly when i accidentally turned one of the things on... i turned it off and my mom asked " what are you doing" and i said changing... she said no your not... I'm afraid she thinks i was using the toy when i was hiding it... Help!!!

I agree with the posts above, you don't have the right to take them, or tell them to stop. What I would do is explain what you were doing, how it makes you feel when you hear things and ask them to not make you feel uncomfortable with the noise. Just be honest and she will understand.... I'm sure she is just as embarrassed as you are.

why does it bother you that they have them? Why would you feel you had the right to take it and hide it from them?

Honey, what your parents do in their bedroom is their business not yours. They are adults and you can't stop them.

Maybe you can let her know that sometimes you can hear them at night and it makes you feel very uncomfortable. I think she would understand that.

Perhaps trying to hide their things wasn't the right way to go about fixing the problem...
