  1. Not sure if it is still true, but an FBI agent used to have to be an attorney.

  2. Why the h**l would you want to work for the police state>?

  3. FBI usually hire CPA's and Lawyers.  This means you need more schooling and work experience.  They also hire language experts.  If you are the standard typical white American that is monolingual, then good luck.  Languages like Arabic and Chinese are in demand right now for obvious reasons.

Most important, stay away from drugs and trouble which will haunt you in your background check and polygraph exam when you apply.

  4. Arabic,Russian,Law,Accounting.

  5. You want to study some form of engineering, civil and computer is the best, and I HIGHLY recommend taking Arabic for your entire college career.

  6. You can study in any field to get your Bachelor's.  FBI are cops without a uniform but with more investigative functions.

  7. Linguistics, logic, game theory, and any other advanced course in math, science would be helpful.

Lawyers make me sick... they are not a good fit to defend our country, and if the FBI should give them a job, it would not be in the field.

  8. Why not check their website.

  9. Well i can say that i too at one point wanted to be in the FBI. I have spoken with some of their agents. The applications are filed in different categories- Any 4 year degree, language, accountants, and any application with SWAT or special operations.

If you have any 4 year degree, depending on what area you are applying from, you will be towards the bottom of the list. I.E. you need a masters degree or higher to get towards the top of the list.

Accountants- that means that more than likely you will be doing accounting work. If you dont mind riding a desk and looking over paper work its a pretty quick way to get hired. But the one problem is that you have to be a licensed Accountant and that test is long and it sucks.

SWAT- you have to have 3 years min on a part time team for this to apply to you. But then you get into debt as life goes by and you might end up just being a cop unless you really have to drive to stick with it and finish a 4 year degree in the mean time.

Now the language- this in my personal opinion is the best and quickest  way to get hired. You get a lang. degree in any thing from a predominant terrorist nation or a nation that is a threat to the USA and you are a golden child and you are hired and put at the top of the list- given the demand for that language. But you are going to have to take a  test on how well you know the language.
