What should i study in university if I want to repair/check airplanes in airports?

  1. aeronautics or mechanical engineering.


  2. Most schools that have an aerospace program will have a mechanical concentration that you can select. You will need to get your A and P. Mechanical engineering will not help you get the certifications that you need. You won't need a masters to be an aircraft mechanic. In fact, you don't even need a BS (While it is a good idea). You just have to get the A and P.

  3. I would go with aeronautical engineering.

  4. Go to schhol for Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanics.
