Im a full time college student on break... well I applied for a seasonal job last month and got it, started the next week. I make decent money, but the drive is almost 60 miles, it's M-F 6-2 and Im looking to relocate to that area... the other job is the job I worked last year, it a took long for the whole hiring process this year so I took the other job instead.. well the job I worked last year called me and want me to start tomorrow morning at 7:30 and work to 4:30 and thats a 30 mile drive, but my other seasonal job starts at 6 a.m. and been there so far about a month..

I have to pick one but not sure which one?? The one I have now is ok, and the one I had last year was ok too but can't guarantee 40 hours and some weekend work is required.

What should I pick?

A. The new seasonal job

B. Last year's seasonal job

  1. you ahve to pick which one makes you happier, plus yoiu have to look at the cost of gas.  Which job is more cost effective.  If you are making the same money than your best bet is to take the closer job.  Even if you are making more money in the farther job, how much wear and tare are you putting on your car to get you there, plus the extra cost of ga each week? Also look at which one will benefit your goals more, and which has the better possibility of advancement, eg. which one will make you more money, or make you happier in the long run. good luck.
