  1. Take water. And if they don't let you in with it, take plenty of money for water. I haven't been to Warped Tour in 5 or 6 years, but I remember there were no water fountains and bottle of it went for like 4 bucks.

  2. Well im heading to the same place as you!.

    but hm,biggest tips and.

the earliest time to be there,hm i'd say around 11.

I mean some get there at 9! but between 9-11 so that would be ok.

but here's what you should bring to warped, cause I do it every year

    1.backpack

    2.sunscreen

    3.water(at least 5 bottles)

4.camera and 2 sets of extra batteries

    5.some small snacks like crackers,peanuts,etc

6.some kinda light weight jacket just incase(last year we got stuck in a hurricane almost,it was crazy but I had my jacket and was glad!)

7.extra hair ties(you might end up losing yours in the crowd)

8.anything you want a band that will be there to sign

9.2 sharpies(they tend to run out quick!)

10.and like a few sheets of paper to write down all the times and stages you'll need to be at.

11.have ALOT of money, you should have atleast 40 for merch, and another 30 for emergencies! I had 150.but I got 50 from my parents and the rest I'd save so any money you have from your own bring it,and try to get at leat 25 from your parents.

but also what you should deff do.

is if you go to a few of your favorite bands booths, see if there going to have any acoustic sets or any signings anywhere.

thats my check list to warped.(:

and one main thing you must know when going to warped

    Have loads of fun!

  3. This is the stuff I take every year:

    1. Water.

About 5-6 bottles. It's ridiculously expensive there.

    2. Sunscreen.

Like SPF 30 or higher, you may be in direct sunlight for

8 or 9 hours, so you need protection.  I'd recommend

waterproof, because you never know what'll happen at

         Warped.

    3.  Hand Sanitizer.

         Because there are Porta-Potties!  Ewwww!

    4.  Toilet Paper.

Or at least those disposable seat covers.

    5.  Digital Camera.

Most venues allow it.  Make sure to have fresh batteries,

because if you can find them at Warped, they're very

         expensive.

    6.  A Plastic Poncho.

In case it rains.  You can find them at Dollar Tree or Wal

Mart or any place that sells camping stuff.  They cost about

$1, so if there is the slightest chance it might rain, you

can't afford to not have one.

    7.  A Backpack.

To carry all the above c**p, and everything I buy.  Even if

you don't plan on buying anything, there is always someone

         handing something out.

    8.  Money.

I usually take $100.  There are a lot of CD's for sale for

$5, and lots of other cool things.  It sucks to be caught

without money, so take a bit.  You may want to take more

in case your venue won't let you take your water in.  And

          you may want to eat.

You also may want to take:

    1.  CD's.

Maybe not the whole thing, but at least the booklet if

you decide to ask for an autograph when you run into

someone in one of your favorite bands.

    2. A Pen or Marker.

         For the autograph!  Duh!

    3.  Paper.

There will be a huge sign, usually near the main stages,

that has the showtimes and location for all the bands.

Sometimes there is paper to write this down, but if there

isn't you'll still want this info to help plan your day.

    4.  A Hat.

          For the sun.

    5.  Sunglasses.

         The sun again.

    6.  A Jacket.

I don't know  what the weather is like where you live, so

         you may need one.

    7.  A Bag.

Yeah, you can put all your stuff in your backpack, but if it

isn't waterproof and it's going to rain, you can stick it in

the bag and close it inside your backpack to help protect

          it.

    8.  Snacks.

Your venue might allow you to take them in, so maybe a

granola bars or a bag of chips.  Nothing too pricey though

in case you have to throw it out before you go in.

One more thing...don't take anything that may get you in trouble.  They're really strict about that stuff.  Two years ago

they didn't want to let a girl in who had safety pins on her shirt.  Just make sure nothing you take can be considered dangerous.

As far as the earliest time to get there, call the venue and ask them directly.  My ticketmaster ticket says gates open at noon, but the venue says 11am, so don't go off your ticket alone.

I hope this helps you!  Have a great time!
