i previusly asked a question under helldate=promdate. my dad is letting me talk to my "prom date" but he doesnt want us to be gf/bf. he said i can give the guy my cell phone number and we can talk for like ten minutes a day. i was like wtf? im not in preschool. im going to be eighteen in september. the guy seems nice and stuff, but my dad is treating me like a baby. so my question is when i talk to this boy who is my age for TEN MINUTES!! wtf lol. what should we talk about? anything interesting?

It really depends on what type of person he is; but i wuld talk about futuredreams.. maybe a bit about your day but not too much about yourself ranting.  Focus on him if you want to small talk; keep everything happy and dont be negative at all unless its channeling yoru fustration at your dad.

I know i didnt give you anythign directly to talk about but if i did then it woudlnt really be you talking to him it would be him talking to me :x

LOL Ok , So that is a little silly. But you know what your dad is trying to protect his little girl. I wish to God I had my father in my life growing up. Cus let me tell you I have settled for some piece of c**p guys. Because I need that protection from a man. Count yourself lucky. Ok as what to talk about, talk to him at school. When he calls ask how his day went he will appreciate that you asked. And guys don't really like the phone anyhow. Then when your 10 mins is up tell him you need to do something. It will give him a chase. And if you like this guy alot it will work out to your benefit.  When September gets here you will be 18. Get your own cell phone. Have a GREAT time at the prom.

One of the things I would do is ask him questions about him self. People subconsciously like talking about them selves so if you ask him questions about him self like what is his favorite cereal you two will have stuff to talk about.
