What should i tell my family when they make fun of me?

so every time i sing my sister and mom both make fun of me. When i sing to my mom alone she gets angry and tells me that it sounds like I'm singing for dead people. but when i sing to friend they tell me that i sound good. I'm not trying to become a singer or anything but i enjoy singing but they don't want me singing in the house not even when I'm in the shower.what should i say to them when they make fun of me and insult me because of my singing.and that's not the only thing they make fun of me for every thing i cant take t any more it really hurts

"What? You want me to sing louder?! OK!!"

& each time they start complaining again keep saying "Louder?".

That is so mean spirited.Just be yourself and sing your heart out. A person who sings is a joyful person.When they make fun of you , determine yourself to ignore it.Sing where they arent going to hear you.Enjoy your life, and remember those who are being mean are not worth the trouble to get upset about it. For your mom to say that is really mean. Girl I hope you dont let it take your joy away.I have a daughter who sings, and how I miss having her in my home to sing. OMG that is sooo mean!! you have to tell your family that it's hurtful, the insults. I mean, they are not temporarily in your life....it's permanent....so i suggest you talk to them about it and get yourself out of insults. Your family SHOULD be the one to tell you you sing good and friends but anyway,,,,do what i said,

stand up to them and ask them to sing,then tell them that it sounds awful.then explain to them how bad it makes you feel once your done explaining,make sure that they know that if they do it,you get to say/do something mean to them!!
