What should i upgrade first on my completely stock v6 mustang convertible?

what things would you do to a stock 2001 v6 mustang convertible to make it look/preform better. im on a $1200 budget

Dual exhaust will make it look and sound much better. I have Flowmaster Force II on my '98 V6, and it sounds a lot better. It gives you a little more power, and slightly better fuel economy. I have a cold air intake too, and that by itself will make almost no difference in performance. It looks cool when you open the hood, that's about it.

Other than that, get some better wheels.. the V6 wheels all suck.

I would do some nice rims and a set of new tires, upgrade the suspencion, eibach springs, and upgraded shocks. all that should put you at your budget.
