Question:

What should i use to edit music?

I want to be able to edit music that has been recorded onto the computer but at the present time i cannot afford an Imac or any MakIntosh computer is there any good and [not essentially] user friendly software for windows or even a different operating system or would i be better off saving up for an imac?

  1. Try Audacity.

    It's quite easy - even I know how to edit music in that program! :D


  2. Audacity is good but sometimes can be tough same with nero wave editor . .. or virtualDJ

    u certainly dont need a mac to do all this stuff

  3. You won't need a MAC - but GarageBand is good. For the PC, you can't beat the price of Audacity, but if you want something a little more advanced check out Adobe Audition.

    Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.

  4. Don't listen to those goons saying Audacity, Audacity sucks

    use Wavepad, the free version is great, it's extremely user friendly, once you get into it it becomes easier, you just need to play around with it for a bit just to familiarize with it
