That 3m sticky stuff for hanging pictures. or Velcro, i don't want to have to put screws in, in case i take it out someday, i want something that wont really show after i take it off. but i'm thinking velcro might leave sticky stuff behind like duct tape does. have any ideas let me know which is best, or if you have any other good ideas. i think it will be mounted to plastic

  1. ive installed a bunch, one ontop of the dashboard, looked good but left visible holes. (if it ever comes out)  A few under the dashboard, where you wouldent see any s***w holes, but you need to have the room to do it,  Others weve put right in the dash installed the same way you would install a CD player, a lot of center consoles have a plastic piece or something that can come out, just have to fabricate stuff....  i used velcro once, it all depends on where you put it, i mean i dont know how well the velcro will hold the wright of a big heavy cb especially if its in a truck and you go off roading, if you can velcro it sideways or from the top so it doesnt move it would probably work, although i think velcro would work on any compact radio. good velcro,   to take off the sticky stuff try "goop off" or "oops off" or "gunk remover" or just rubbing alchoal, all that stuff will take the sticky out... it depends on where you want to mount it that changes what you mount it with.   (if youve got a center "hump" look at a stand for it, i think they are on ebay plenty...)

    good luck

  2. 3m tape should work, But if its on there for a wile you will have to put some elbow grease into to remove the old tape from your car when you remove it
