well you see, i want something that can stick BEHIND the poster, not over it. and when i want to take my posters off (just incase i move or something), i don't want my posters to be damaged in any sort of way, cause i would want to use the poster again. so what is the best thing to use to put my posters up? sorry if i was confusing

  1. i completely understand.

i covered my entire room with posters, but i put clear tape on the edges, which worked fine. if you dont want to see the tape and want to move it easily, then make little tape rolls and stick it on the back. its actually really easy to move it that way, as long as you dont completely yank it off of the wall like an angry gorilla!

  2. go to target and the section where they sell home improvement items like tape, glues, etc. Look for a BLUE tacky putty. Works great  for posters.

  3. If you are willing to spend a little extra, get them mounted. Basically they will be pressed onto a wood board which will have a built in hook on the back. That way, your posters are preserved and you won't have to use push pins or tape. If you don't want to pay to have that done, I imagine you could do the equivalent yourself. You could even just use poster board, cut it to size, and use an acid free archival quality glue stick to paste it on. Then you could either get a hook to attach to the poster board or use tape, and it wouldn't harm the actual poster.

  4. there is this blue like clay moldy stuff i think called sticky tac or something....worked fine for me

  5. just but some tape

  6. Listen to Olivia C and get them mounted.  Otherwise buy some poster frames.  Ikea usually has cheap ones.  Not only will this help preserve your posters, but it will also help your room to not look so dorm-like.  It will be a little classier, and that never hurt anyone.
