Wear a colour that you think flatters yourself best- avoid colours that tend to wash you out. Don't wear anything strapless or anything extremely low cut, you want to leave a good impression not a bad impression. Something fitted, that flatters your figure rather then hiding your figure. I'd say a dark wash pair of skinny/boot cut jeans and a fitted, solid colour t-shirt (based on the description, it sounds like olive green would look nice on you), and a pair of ballet flats. It's best to wear a solid t-shirt rather then a patterned t-shirt as the patterned t-shirt will just appear busy and take the attention away from your face which isn't good. Keep it simple, for accessories pick one main accessory. Either layered necklaces, a couple of bangles or a nice pair of earrings- not all of the above... one or the other.
