What should i wear for this recital?

I am a female university music student and have to do a solo clarinet recital in the spring... I am not going to wear a dress because I am not comfortable in them, but am wondering whether I should invest in a suit of some sort, or just find a really nice top and pants combo? (Mostly I'm just not good at making decisions haha)

If anyone out there has dealt with the same thing, what did you do?

Go for the top and bottoms combo because you said yourself you don't care for a dress.  Make sure they are things that will go with other stuff in your wardrobe.  That way they'll get more wear.
