What should i wear on a night out?

Question

am going on a night out with some friends this saturday night to a night club... the thing is they all try and out do each other on how they are dressed and make comments which am not comfortable with ive got to go out because i said i would...so should i go out casual or should i really dress up am not sure what to wear but i do want to look nice...thanks

Don't you have to dress up to get in a night club anyway?

Won't clubs actually turn you down if your dressed too casual?

Why not try to outdo them? Since they're all trying to outdo each other, wouldn't you look a bit odd dressed casual (especially at a night club?)? Besides, it's a night out with friends, you should look good and feel good.

Wear something you'll be able to dance in so don't do too dressy, just more than usual.
