Just wear what you would be most comfortable in.  On the first day of school I wear something comfortable since it is a busy day, also it should be something that you'd normally wear that way your teachers get to see the real you, but at the same time wear something nice like jeans and a nice shirt or polo or a skirt and top with some cute shoes, just pick out the best outfit in your closet or the one that strikes your eye in the store, have no regrets.  Best of Luck!

Don't dress up on the first day, it's most likely only a half a day anyway. And i don't really know YOUR personal style but on my first day i wore a baby doll top, skinny jeans and flats.
