  1. sorry about your loss. =[

but the at the last funeral i went to i wore a black dress. and the one before that, i wore black dress pants, and a nice shirt. im sure your parents can help, but really just dark colors, and nothin to casual. =]

  2. it does not have to be black it can be brown or blue, i suggestions:

dark colored tops with longer denim skirts, (at least to your knees)

    dark plain dress

anything really but no tank tops because you are at a funereal home, also ask your mother because i went to my friends funeral and one girl from my school showed up in jeans, uggs and a hot pink hollister sweatshirt! make sure you don't look to tarty

    sorry for you loss

  3. Well I was just recently at my grandmas funeral 2 weeks ago. I wore black dress pants with a white polo for the wake. Then the next day I wore a green dress for the mass. For a wake it's good to wear black. I wore green the next day because we are in the southwest so it was a little bit more casual color wise. I would wear At least black on the bottum. And for the mass you should wear grey/brown/black if it's further north or less casual. I hope I helped and am sorry for your loss. I'm also 13 so this question is kinda ironic to me :)

  4. First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your loss and the fact that you are attending a funeral at such a young age.

Black is a must, yes; but nobody expects you to dress like your own grandmother. So whatever black and simple you already have in your closet will be fine, there is no need to "dress up" for a wedding. If you think you need something new, go and check out Dorothy Perkins, New Look, TopShop or any regular high street store you have near for affordable clothes.

Black shoes with no heels (or tiny heels if you must), simple black pants or a simple black skirt (no shorter than knee-length) with a simple black blouse. If you feel more comfortable not wearing black literally all-over, you can go for a white or dark-grey blouse/shirt instead of a black one. If you have a cardigan or blazer jacket, you can throw that one over. Any jewellery or accessoire should be left at home imho. If you need to have something with you, find a very simple and small black bag, if you feel "naked" without a necklace, any simple silver or gold one will be fine - or pearls, though you really are a bit too young for those. :)
