  1. inside or outside?

    inside,  DO NOT wear jeans

i used to be an ice skater, and jeans are too stiff.

wear sweat pants or sport pants.

on the top, wear a t-shirt and a sweater. don't pile

on too many things, or you wn't balance properly.

wearing thin gloves is good too.

BE SURE TO TIE THE SKATES TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

if you don't you won't be able to skate at all,

but you will slip and slide and fall a million times

loose skates are horrible for skating.

if it is outside, wear a long sleeve shirt, and a thicker jacket.

even though it might un balance you a bit more,

it is important to stay warm

    thin gloves again.

    sport pants, or sweat pants.

    NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    jeans.

  2. if youve never skated before, wearing a skirt might not be the best thing. lol. is it iindoors?

if it is, you should wear jeans, short sleave shirt and a sweatshirt, cause even though its ice, it can get hot

if its outside,,a long sleeved shirt with a jacket will do you good.

if you want to wear gloves go for it, but they might get a little hot loll

    have fun

  3. if i were you i wouldn't start out wearing a skirt! since you have never been skating before i would wear stretching, warm, pants. such as sweatpants. you will probably fall once and a while(it happens to everyone). the long sleeve shirt and the hollister shirt seem good though those should be fine. YES ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES! i would never ever skate without my gloves. the keep me warmer and if i fall my hands don't freeze and make skating miserable.

  4. definatly wear gloves, just incase you fall over, it isnt as cold as you think, no problem with what you said you want to wear...

    Good Luck

  5. I've been skating for 5 years now and when I first started I would where my skates..of course!) Then, I wuld throw on a long sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt over that. I CERTAINLY recommend purchasing a pair of skating tights (over the boot or just regular footed - both are fine! what ever you prefer!) A SKATING skirt might get cold if you fall a lot, but the truth is your just going to have to get used to that! I either where a SKATING SKIRT, yoga pants, or a dress (tights under all these things!!!!) Tip: Dont wear a regular skirt (jean, cotton, whatever ....DONT wear it! They are not meant for skating you WILL ruin it eventually. It will not bend well enough either. Get either a skating skirt or skating dress. They are made of a strecthy material that grabs your curves and bends with you NOT against you! ALWAYS...ALWAYS wear GLOVES!!! Very important! You might get "ice burn" on your hands if you dont or your hands with get just plain FROZEN. I always wear gloves otherwise my hands freeze. Ice = cold! Gloves = protected, warm hand.

Skating is a sport you want to go for comfort and being able to more freely. Getting the right clothes in the first steps to becoming a GREAT skater!!!!!!! :)

    Hope this helps!!!!

  6. 1st of all you should where ice skates then put on what you like but not that you like it so much becuase it might get ice on it or torn up. so something good like your 3rd favorite shirt/pants. and also wear something that says " im the best and im good around here" or something like " ive been here  before" kind of look. where something that will protect you and stuff that look ice skating material. you should buy stuff that you will need

  7. You should defiantly wear gloves.  Not only do they keep your hands warm, but they protect them when you fall.  Don't wear jeans because they are extremely uncomfortable when you fall.  I suggest that you wear stretch pants or sweat pants.  Wearing a skirt the first time you go is a little unnecessary.  I only wear skating dresses when I compete.  Whatever you were should be comfortable and warm.  Since it would be your first time, expect to fall a lot.  Therefore buttons or snaps or zippers on your pants will become very uncomfortable.  My biggest advise would be to wear gloves and a hat.

  8. gloves, no jeans and to move around clothes are the best.

  9. you should wear gloves because your hands will be freezing if you wont. i suggest wearing something you feel warm and comfortable in like jeans or sweats. You could wear those too but i dont think they look good with skates.

  10. when i first went in

I wore a beanie (u no the hat)

    gloves.

if you think you really fall that much

i guess u can wear jeans but i wore white sweat pants

    (definitely wear gloves)

    yeah

u can wear a hollister jacket if you like

i thought it would be crazy to wear

    a skirt too!!!!!!!

if your wondering about  feet just email

    me

it's really (for me) not that cold

    my parents were freezing though

jeans are kind of bad cause when the zamboni

comes out and it willl take forever for the water to dry.

  11. That sounds okay to me, I usually wear sweat pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a light jacket. but yesterday I went skating with some of my friends and wore a dress with leggings, no jacket. it wasn't that cold and i got used to it right away.

So that sounds fine to me :)

And I would suggest bringing gloves, I always do, and it helps if you fall or something.
