What should i wear to go to a dance workshop

I am taking a dance workshop next week what should i wear to get there at there and what should i wear to acrobatics tap and ballet for the workshop they said wear bicycle shorts and a form fitting top or a leotard where can i get this and what color or style should i get it in

It depends on the kind of dance.

Jazz or Hip-Hop: Jazz Shoes, Dance Pants(Capris if possible since its summer), and a Cami with a t-shirt over it.

Ballet - Ballet shoes, leg warmers, dance capris, cami and hoodie - Zip up so its easy to take off.

ok well what they told you to wear is pretty good. you want to wear shorts that allow you to move and are pretty much tight. dancers usually call these "booty" shorts, cause they tend to be quite short. and a tank top will be good, also it is much cooler then a t-shirt... and then you won't get ugly sweat marks as well! (definitely a downer) and for the ballet section, I suggest you wear tights and a leotard, or "body suit" this is the best so the teacher of the worksho can see all your muscles working and it is much easier for them to correct mistakes that they see. As for shoes... for tap tap shoes, jazz either jazz shoes, bare feet, or foot paws/thongs/underwear (depends on what people call it where you are) and ballet ballet shoes! so i would get black shorts, and either a black or dark blue bodysuit. For tights either get pink ones, or beige ones... those are prety much the most common :) so ya. well I hope this helps!

For a bra, you will probably want a sports bra with loads of coverage.

You will probably want to put your hair up in a ponytail or loose bun.

For socks, ankle socks that don't slip down into your shoe work best. If they do slip down it will be uncomfortable, but any other socks look strange with sneakers, especially with shorts and especially dancing.

You will want to bring a water bottle.

For makeup, be kind of minimal--if you want mascara use waterproof. Put on some deoderant and lip balm on and some foundation or bronzer if you insist. But don't coat on 6 centimeters of makeup of anything. But some is totally okay.

Speaking of deoderant, for this dance workshop it is a MUST!!!! Apply it before the workshop under your arms and behind your knees a little. You'll probably want a little (a LITTLE!) perfume or scented lotion, too. Make sure you shower, brush your teeth, etc. before you go to the workshop, basic hygiene is important when you dance.

The barre room has some good dance shoes I think, if you need those too.

no camis are horrible to dance in trust me.bring foot paws or foot undeez and jazz shoes.wear a form fitting tank top and jazz pants.or a t-shirt and jazz pants.hot shorts are good to wear too.
