What should i wear to our Martia gra theme dance. It is in october and i need to find a dress fast.?

Get a sparkly dress and a mask from a party store (i just went to party city and they had a ton of stuff you could use like boas, masks, hats and beads.

Also, luckily it is halloween season and costumes will be out by october. You can buy mardi gras outfits as a costume set, i've seen them.

The official Mardi Gras colors are purple, green, and yellow so any dress with those colors would work. Most people wear costumes to Mardi Gras so any costume you like would work well, too.

In either case, I would get a fancy feather mask and some Mardi Gras beads for the dance. You can find them on line or at party supply stores. "Laissez les bon temps rouler" (let the good times roll) is the main idea of Mardi Gras!! : P

dont forget to wear a fun hat! in new orleans it's all about the accessories!!! so whatever dress you find and choose to wear, be sure and dazzle it up with hats and beaded-neclaces!!!
