What should i write my poem about? ?

i need to write a poem... and i'm horrible at writing poems... they always end up childish, and they sound like rhymes.

i need some tips on writing poems... and something to write a poem about.

write what comes from the heart ... do u have a significant other ... anybody you care about pass away .. poems don't necessarily have to ryme if they do don't over do it .. a simple ABCADB ryme scheme will do fine

You should write ur poem about ur inspiration, a crush, how u feel, or a friend. It's ur poem. Choose something that u really adore. I hope you could write a poem that u want it to be. It'd ur decision.

well i wanted to write a poem 2weeks ago when my g*y bf broke up with me lol.

im like a funny person and i wanted to be serious for once so i did.

i sat in a quiet room and started writing.

if your a serious person write about life,family,friens,summer,boys.

if ur a comicle person write about funny stories or even better make up a rap!!

Write a poem about something you saw or did and how it made you feel. Life experiences are the best.

When you are done if it seems childish or not quite what you want then take a lot of the words you used and look them up in a thesaurus dictionary and replace those words with new ones.

This will help expand your vocabulary which sometimes is what we need to learn and grow when writing poetry.

And rhymes..nothing wrong with them.
