I came to the states when i was 7. Been living here ever since. Just finished high school and have been undecided whether to keep going or just start working. This is what i don't want, me putting all this effort in school and getting my degree but not being able to work on my desired career because i don't have a social. I don't think its worth me spending alot of money in education if i wont get nothing back from it.

So i am still thinking about it because i know an education is the best thing to do. In my case it may not be .

What do you guys think. what should i do?

  1. Your asking yourself a lot of questions. Why don't you try a community college which will offer courses that you may use for your future. Now as to expense there will not be any great fee in going to a community college. This will prepare you for a job. Give education a chance, it is great thing. The best of luck to you.

  2. I think you should get your immigration status worked out regardless of what you do. It would be a problem for you to get a good job or furthur your education.

Congratulations on wanting to better yourself. I wish more people in this  thought like you. :)

  3. Leave, and come back LEGALLY! Or take your education back to your home country and help those people.
