What should me and my friends do about this one teacher at our school?

i dont have her as a math teacher, but one of my friends does and her teacher (mrs. wilson) is teaching them the wrong stuff! for example, she said that you divide exponents (ex. 5 squeared, etc.), but you're supposed to multiply them! my friend is failing math because of that dumb mrs wilson and its not even her fault! she gets confused because she does math the way mrs wilson taught them, but then she marks it wrong. what should she do? the other math teachers in our grade are good and they teach the right way.

Well, since she isn't your teacher, you should stay out of it.  As for your friend, I would have her ask permission to tape record the class, saying that since she is struggling, she would like to be able to listen to it again at home later.  That way, if the teacher really does say the wrong thing, she will have proof, and she and her parents can go to the principal about it.

Then have your friend ask the question here, because you aren't a player in this are you?  How do you know the friend is giving you the right stuff if you are not in the class to hear it?  That is hearsay and won't stand up in a court of law.

Have a parent look at your tests and check the work, get parents involved and contact you vice principal and principal, let the adults work it out

Ask your friend to tell her parents and ask the parents talk to the teacher. Invite parents to sit in the same class to follow the class. Then talk to the principle of school. Ask to change class... or fire that teacher if it is the teacher's fault.
