  1. Definitely under 5 seconds.  Outstanding for high school football would be 4.6 to 4.9.  The fastest NFL times are around 4.2-4.3 for comparison.

  2. 4.5-4.7

If you're really fast, under 4.5

  3. From my experience training athletes for the 40 yard dash, a good time would be in the 4.5's if you run this consistently. As you progress through high school, through training an technique refinement if you can bring that time down into the 4.4's that would be excellent.

You will be amazed that how much technique refinement will lower your 40 yard dash time. So train hard and practice.

Resources to check out to improve your 40 yard dash I suggest www.masteringthe40yarddash.com and www.combinefreak.com

    Hope this helps! Train hard.

  4. WOW EITHER I DREAMED I DID ALREADY OR I HAVE ESP , BUT I WILL TRY AGAIN

IF YOU ARE 16 , 5'10 AND 168 LBS, THEN IN MY 23 YEARS OF COACHING IN TEXAS HIGH SCHOOLS , THESE SHOULD BE AT LEAST CLOSE

40 TIME : DEPENDS A LOT ON YOUR AGE ,

YOUR GRADE , WHICH I THINK I SAW SOMEWHERE WAS 8TH OR 9TH GRADE SO HERE GOES :

IF YOU ARE IN JR HIGH GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL THEN YOUR 40 IS GOING DOWN AS YOUR BODY MATURES .

EARLY 40 TIME 4.7  TO 5.O IS GOOD

OUT STANDING TIMES WOULD BE 4.4 TO 4.7.

BY YOUR SENIOR YEAR 4.4 TO 4.5 WOULD BE GOOD . OUT STANDING BY THAT POINT IN YOUR CAREER WOULD BE 4.3 AND BELOW .

    HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
