  3. By the time Christmas comes around, Resistance 2 should be out, so get that and Resistance.

    Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted are also really good and fun to play.

    Of course there's Metal Gear Solid 4.

    I personally think Heavenly Sword is a really good game.  It's rather short, but it's a beautiful looking game.  I think it really shows what the PS3's graphic capabilities are.
