but usually when i see these type of question i answer by saying after you had the cat a few days,and they type of character they turn out to be, you will call them some sort of name that will stick,what ever you choose good luck...

their is a saying though that a dog will come when called,but a cat will take a message and get back to you..

and if you want the best seat in the house, move the cat.

maybe sandy would be a good name.  it describes  her coat, and her eyes look like beady black pebbles in the sand at a beach.  it would also be good if she had a digging or scratching at a couch habit, showing she liked ground things and using her claws.  I also suggest finding a word that describes her, and then translate that to another language, any of your choice, and see if you get a pretty name.  i know a name i would have named my rat if he had been a girl, because it sounds girly, but not too much. Iva. that is Japanese for thorn, and cats have thorn sharp claws. unless she is declawed, which i strongly dis advise unless she becomes a huge problem, either aggressive, or tearing things way too much. and if she is declawed, she can't go outside. it would be dangerous, plus declawing is painful for them and shakes their trust in you. i also found a few websites, in case you don't like any of the other names. but, i think that picking out cat names should be your choice, although suggestions are always great. And i think some of the names on these sites are sappy or stupid, and unique names are awesome!)
