  1. blind side flanker.  it's the roughest and tumblest position there is, since you'll be one of the two best tacklers on the team.  you need to be pretty quick off the line since you're job will be to close down the blindside channel from the scrum

  2. This may be a longshot but maybe a scrum-half would be good for you. You're fast so you'll be able to get to rucks and you've played Football(soccer if you're American) so you should have quite good reaction times so you'll be able to pass quickly.

That's all I can think of. GOOD LUCK!!! Hope you do well.

  3. SUPPORTER!! Rugbys a mans game, forget the PC bra burning rubbish. Womans rugby makes a total joke of a great game! Keep playing soccer.

  4. Blind side flanker or maybe scrum half.

  5. Seeing that the scrum-half is usually the shortest player on the team, I think that would be a good position for you. Then again, do you have a brain?

  6. Blind side flanker

  7. start training with your school/local club team, the coach should be able to tell you which position you are best at... good luck!

  8. Hooker or maybe scrum half..

you may even pull off of being flank (like me!!!)

    and Pro-Tour is a tawt!

Girl's rugby is the ****! He probably just sucks and is jealous that us girls can play better then him =)

    Good luck!

  9. If you dont have much upper body strength, I think you should reconsider the offers of playing hooker.

You could get by as a flanker, (More likely open side).

Alternatively you could try out the centres, if you are quite light on your feet as well. (If you are conscious of your speed, it might be better to play inside centre, though I don't think that would really matter!!)

  10. well you can try out scrum half

  11. Blinside Flanker or Number 8! You could be the womens equivilant of Jerry Collins!haha!

  12. Hooker, the person in the centre of the scrum who "hooks" the ball back. You say you like the rough and tumble, well you`ll get plenty in rucks and mauls

    Good Luck

  13. Wing

  14. Hooker is one good option cuz you get involved in plenty of rucks and mauls and you drive the ball up aswell. If you don't want to be Hooker then i would suggest Openside Flanker as they do nearly everything Hooker does but more work. You said that you have a lot of leg strength, so you can also tryout for Halfback ,First Five or Second Five.  They do a lot of kicking but you gotta be strong to be Second Five. But it is all up to you to decide where you wanna play.

  15. hooker is the best position for you. u use a lot of leg power there to drive back the opposin team when with the ball and in a scrum. if u hav good handiling skills you could also try scrum half

  16. ok your defo not a hooker! 7st?no way! your a scrum half or winger...scrumhalfs need speed theyre im the middle of all the action farward scrums malls lineouts and rucs and in the back moves ball carrying and tackaling...its the best position in my oppinion!it has alot of responsibility but its worth it!
