What should my spanish name be?

i have it down to emilia and rosalina. Emilia was my mom's spanish name when she took spanish. i was thinking it might be cool to have the same name as her.

  1. I live in Mexico and I really don't know any Emilia, my graandmother's name is Rosalina, what about if i tell you my girlfriends names and you can have an idea what you really want..

    my daughter's name is Ana Sofia.(i love sofía)

  4. Hah, I remember when we had to choose spanish names in school. I picked Margarita. And I think you should pick Emilia because it sounds better than rosalina, in my opinion, and because you have your own reason.

    To be honest with you, Emilia sounds kind of old fashioned  and so does Rosalina. However, I have some friends who go by Emilia in Spain. I don't remember meeting any Emilia or Rosalina in Latin America.

    How about these other names that have interesting meanings?

    Rosa (rose), Marisol ('sea and sun'), Luna (Moon), Bonita (pretty), Linda (pretty), Maricielo ('sea and sky'), Sol (Sun)...
