Been trying for some months now no luck. Never had regular periods as long as remember, and find it difficult to know when is the next ovulation. Had hormonal level test more than twice normal except one time high prolactin level but doctor said I was probably stressed. Guys anyone with same experience, really need some advice apart from lots of love making...

  1. I have had an irregular cycle since I began menstrating, and I conceived without any form of medication.  I had to chart my BBT and observe my CM.  I also have a tilted cervix, which made me worry a bit, but I put a small pillow under my backside and laid down for 1/2 hour after love making, and it took 6 mos. of TTC (average time) before we found out I was expecting.

Relaxing would help, too.  Stress is not good at all.  Start taking Prenatal Vitamins now to give the baby a healthy home to start developing and just remember that all good things come in time.

  2. Two suggestions. First, start tracking your temps. It can give you a lot of insight as to whether or not you are ovulating, and if so, when. Second, if you've been trying for a year (six months if you're 35+) then it's time to see a fertility specialist, who will be able to identify why you haven't been able to conceive and offer solutions. If you can't get an appt right away, then I recommend you start charting now, so that you can give the doctor a head start to figuring out what the problem is.

    Good luck

  3. Check out the book: "The Fastest Way To Get Pregnant Naturally" I really liked it!

  4. Do you have increased cervical mucus at any time during the month?  If you do, this could be a good sign for you to gauge your ovulation by.  Also, trying basal body temperature charting could be helpful for you.

  5. the main issue is not having regular period, try to see an obgyn so they can prescribe you meds like clomid to help you regulate your periods, once you do that it'll be easier to figure out when you ovulate and increase your chances :) you can also ask a doctor online for free for advice and find other women for support, try FertilityTies.com

    good luck!
