What should one do when one steps in an escalator?

I dont know how to use an escalator, i will be grateful if you could give me a step-by-step instructions as to how to use it. May be how to step into it and when you get to the end how to step out. Thanks

Whilst getting on an escalator, one must put thy primary foot foward and make a thrust with thy primary leg and step on to the moving creation by man.

When the end is reached One must push thy primary leg foward again and thrust it in a motion so great that it reaches past thy yellow and black line.

The beginning and end both flatten out a bit, so you simply have to step on and off of it. Stay to the right if you intend to just ride, to the left if you're going to walk up the stairs as it moves.
