Guitar first.. get used to this and play well before you attempt the electric guitar.  This is the best way.

Wow.  This sounds just like my daughter.  She is also ten.  She loves the acoustic guitar and the electric guitar but she loves the electric guitar more so she is starting lessons this Saturday with the electric guitar.  She should decide which guitar she likes more and go with that.  You want her to be happy.
