Hello i need help about a problem at work my friends mother was push and threatened by a girl at work. that's half her age. my friends mother is 48 and the girl that threatened her is 24 years old. the girl push the lady and now they are talking to HR about she is very scared for her life since the girl told her that she was going to wait after work to deal with her. I'm helping her write a letter about it but need some help. I'm requestion the company to take some actions on this or we are going to take legal actions, but the lady doesn't want to lose her job. HELP what should i do.

  1. She have simply reported the physical attack and threats to the police department.

The offical report with the HR department by the lady should be copied and then report it to the police.  She can probably be arrested for physical assault.  The lady won't be fired, the girl however should be dealt with immediately.  If this isn't handled immediately, the lady should hire an attorney and the company is held liable for not protecting their employees.   "Seriously" have her contact an attorney and have him present at any discussions with HR.  They can loose everything over this if not handled properly.  

  3. She needs to tell her boss, HR & if there is security at her work needs to be notified as well. I don't know what a "requestion" is but if she doesn't let her employer know what's going on they can't help her.
