Question:

What should the country that wins the Olympics receive?

Obviously, the Olympics are held to determine the greatest country in the universe.

The more difficult question is, what should that victorious country be awarded?

I was thinking that the award should be Poland, which is the usual award for this kind of thing. But right now, the US and China are in the lead, and Poland seems so far away physically from either of them. Or maybe the losing countries will be required to adopt the language of the champion country. But then again, everyone already speaks English, so that would not be fair to the US (and would be an unearned windfall for England).

What do you think?

  1. This question is irrelevant because there is no winner of the Games.

  2. You say what now?

  3. no one wins

  4. No country actually wins the Olympics. They do not anoint an all around winner. So that is a silly question, which you know already.

  5. They should receive a handicap i.e. have to compete wearing blindfolds in the subsequent games to give the others a chance!

Blindfolded gymnastic  rings would be amazing!

  6. Evidently, blindfolded Phelps would still win.  lol

But ummm...no one country "wins" the Olympics.

    How often did you train?

    Me too.

  7. I think they should be given a twinkie.

  8. Your comment made me laugh. "the losing countries will be required to adopt the language of the champion country"- that's just stupid.

And do you know how big China and US are in comparison to other countries?

    Poland- 16 place (6 medals)

More than about 47-50 of the countries.

    No country wins the Olympics!
